Should i really worry about this It's pretty damn common on our cars! I had mine go on and was on for about a year! Mine has to do with my passenger seat airbag. From what I read, I have to remove the seat and clean the contacts for the airbag connector and that should do the trick. I'd get your car scanned to find out which airbag is causing the issue! This is the one I had: Address 15: Airbags Labels: 6Q0-909-605-VW5.lbl Part No: 6Q0 909 605 A Component: 14 AIRBAG VW5 02 0004 Coding: 12596 Shop #: WSC 00000 1 Fault Found: 01218 - Side Airbag Igniter; Passenger Side (N200) 32-10 - Resistance too High - Intermittent

Came up front bag and resistance to high. I didnt save the codes though, so dont have the numbers. The seatbelt connector wires were broken so i fixed them but didnt fix the issue.

 Re: Air Bag Malfunction
I had the same issue actually a while ago and I was able to fix it.
What I did is that I disconnected my battery, unbolted the passenger seat so that I can have access to the wires under the seat. I disconnected everything and then I sprayed some electrical contact cleaner and let it all dry up. Reconnected all the wires and had Adam scan my car and the airbag issue has been gone for about 2 weeks now without it coming back.
Hope that helps!

 Re: Air Bag Malfunction
Just get someone with a Vag Com to try and delete the code/scan the error. Depending which one it is, it may be an easy fix. Like I mentioned before, I was able to fix mine in no time!
