I swapped my interior to black leather (doors and seats) and everyone always has the same question for me...

"Dude, why is your arm rest not leather?"

I don't have a valid answer for them, so, I think I need to FIND one.

Does anyone have one? I called Europarts and Bobby doesn't think he has one...

vortex tends to have them once in awhile, but its pretty much a sought after part (the lid) which is leather and i would assume the rest is like any other one.

Check eBay. I bought one a few years ago for my golf. It came from china but for under $20 shipped it was a damn good deal and held up pretty well.

well $650 @ dealer just for the leather part @ stealership. So i think you should start using your eyeballs in the classifieds, especially on vortex. I think there's a guy in toronto but he's being prickly about parting just the armrest. Maybe even try (thesourcevw) in t-0h.. they usually have some pretty good stockpiles of leather

I second the eBay choice. Should cost you less then $100 shipped for one.

I offered him one for 105USD shipped, he wasnt interested. So i doubt he's going to find one thats well... in any decent shape if that. Sometimes you gotta pay to play
