 VW GTI Journalist edition. Has anyone ever heard of this? Just saw a classified ad for one of these. Apparently it has a notable power jump.
2007 VOLKSWAGEN GTI Journalist Edition: "Journalist Edition" -- 1 of 20 in Canada! Extras: factory darker tinted windows, MKV emblem on rear end, and slots for headlight spray. Engine is flashed with an authorized VW program (installed professionally by authorized dealer). This means the horsepower is increased from 200hp to 262hp, and the torque is increased from 207ft-lb to 300ft-lb!

Re: VW GTI Journalist edition. yeah, looks like this car was beat the f-k up.
So, if the journalist edition has more power, and we read their stats (i.e 0-60, stopping, etc) does that mean its the car they tried, and the real world car is not what they claim? Makes you think.
