 G60 gurus question
Hey guys I am having an issue with my G60 Corrado. I just cant figure it out, if I am hard on the throttle and let off the car seems to loose its throttle response? Today it stalled out after this happened, fired right back up after though. I know it is running pig rich but this issue just started about 4 weeks ago.. Any ideas??

 Re: G60 gurus question
Maybe your WOT switch is stuck in 'open'? If you're idling, and engage the switch by hand, does anything happen?

 Re: G60 gurus question
have not tried that, what should happen? also my charging voltage appears to be around 12.5-13.0 v I guess this could put the car in limp mode too eh?

 Re: G60 gurus question
It might add a fraction of a millisecond to the injectors, but not much. I wouldn't worry about that, it's still within spec. If you close the WOT switch at idle, it should go pig rich and change the way the car idles. Essentially, you've engaged the WOT fueling, even though you're at idle.

 Re: G60 gurus question
So I think I solved the mystery, it was the cam timing of all things... I retarded the timing a couple weeks ago and it ran fine for a few days before this issue started, I guess the valve overlap was too much so it caused a loss off vacuum. weird. I put the timing back at 0 deg and the smoke cleared up, still a big cloud of black smoke when I nail the gas pedal but the 30 lb injectors pump a lot of gas with a 3.5 BAR FPR..
